The heart of this workshop is about becoming more self-aware and self-accepting on the mat and off the mat. We will start with a Hatha Vinyasa Yoga class with a focus on inversions followed by a deeper view on Vishoka Meditation. You will then be guided through a systematic approach that will help develop more awareness either of the body, the mind and the pranic forces.
Vishoka Meditation is a way to awake our true full potential. This path has been established thousands of years ago and it is much more than a technique. It is based on a spiritual tradition and it’s the result of a stream of wisdom and compassion passed by countless generations of masters and practitioners. The practice is based on a very advanced and pragmatic way of feeling the breath as a mean to get access to a deeper state of consciousness passing trough the pranic awareness. The seeds of Vishoka Meditation are contained in three main Sutras: The Yoga Sutra, the Shiva Sutra and the Lotus Sutra.
We will learn how to calm the mind, improve concentration, strengthen memory and direct the flow of the mind inward. With Vishoka we can experience the stillness at the centre of our consciousness. This stage of Vishoka Meditation comprises a set of advanced techniques that unite mind and breath. We can use these united forces to explore our body and mind from a different perspective. We can observe with clarity of mind our weaknesses and strengths. Then we can accept them and transform them with awareness. We will also learn how to support the daily practice of Vishoka Meditation with a self reflection on our yogic lifestyle and with practical examples.
